Mine is a tale of a turtle, not a hare.
For too many years, I was a typical league bowler. I took in tips at league and read a column by a regional champion in the now extinct bowling paper. That can only get you so far.
When my average started dropping year over year, I went looking for instruction. The coaching terms of the regional champion put me off and I didn’t find much else.
Stroke-N-Roll found me. I met Jamie Coy who had a junior program in the same house as my league. From there it felt inevitable. Randy now coaches me and I bowl in a league with Jamie and two of his prior juniors students.
Randy’s and Jamie’s enthusiasm for the game and dedication to help others improve their game is unmatched. The depth and adaptability of Randy’s instruction is unequaled. I know this already as the light at the end of the tunnel feels like it is just opening up.
As with any road to mastery it can demand a lot, but it can give a lot.
