FOR MY BOYS:
I met Randy and Jamie at Arvada AMF when Ruben Marquez (assistant manager at Arvada) encouraged me to get my kids in a Junior program. I was immediately impressed because in one session they were able to change my kids footwork (they both bowled off the wrong foot)! My boys took to Jamie and that's saying something because they are shy and are hesitant to open up around new people. Randy and Jamie helped foster my boys absolute love for the game and because of them my boys are bowling at a level I didn't think was possible. Now I can see great things for them in the future and it all started with Stroke and Roll.
Both my boys have done very well in their Youth Leagues and Tournaments, like the Wendell White Mile High Tour. Nathan has won a total of 3 stops, winning Grand Champion in 2012-2013. Zachary has won a total of 4 stops, including Points Leader in 2012-2013 and most recently winning a stop in November 2014. Nathan and Zach also qualified for the High School State Championships in Singles and in the Team Event for the 2014-2015 season. I don't think Randy and Jamie realize just how much they mean to me and what they have done for my kids. I will be eternally grateful. Thank you!!
FOR ME:
Since I saw the success of what Randy and Jamie did for my boys I decided to join the program for myself. I am a natural competitor and have been an athlete most of my life. Before starting the program my average at best was in the 130's and it drove me nuts because I wanted to be better, it's just my nature. The beginning of the program was difficult because I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel and would become extremely frustrated at what I thought was my lack of progress. But Randy could see something I couldn't, so I stuck with it and just allowed the process to work without forcing it. Good things have started to happen! Now bowling a 200+ isn't an unobtainable goal for me anymore.
That's all due to Randy staying patient and persistent with me, constantly reminding me of the FUNDAMENTALS! The theory of Stroke and Roll has become second nature to me now and my confidence in my game is improving everyday because I am willing to put the work into it. I strive to bowl at a higher level and I feel with Randy and Jamie on my side I know I can accomplish my goals. They definitely go above and beyond any coach I've ever known and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart Randy and Jamie! I hope to make you proud!!
