First and foremost I want to say thanks to Jamie and Randy for encouraging me to get back into bowling.  It's been 3 months now and I bowled my first 300 in 23 years, then followed up with a 248 and a 289 for a 837 series.  I wanted to share with the Stroke and Rollers my mindset and game plan that allowed me to shoot that well last Wednesday night.  Just as I'm writing this, I'm realizing that some of what I've done is to slow things down and thus concentrate on the job at hand.

Mirror Time:    I must say that mirror time has helped tremendously with everything from my stance to my delivery.  We can't make it to the lanes as often as we like or afford it for that matter, so going through the motions you'll be able to train your body and muscles away from the lanes as well.  This would be in addition to practice only though, a supplement not a replacement.

Journal:    I never did this before, but I am 100% sold on it.  I can tell you that last week, I only moved 3 boards all night.  Also, I can tell you when I moved.

Thanks Randy for the great coaching; without it I wouldn't be scoring like this so soon.  I have lots to improve on and look forward to working with you.  Stroke -N-Rollers, stick with your game plan and reap the rewards.  If you have questions, ask Randy because we have talked in length about all my practices and league bowling.
